SOPRI Applouds Somaliland President's Trip To London

The Somaliland Policy & Reconstruction Institute (SOPRI), a non- partisan organization based in Los Angeles in collaboration with the Californian Somaliland Community applauds the visit of Somaliland President Dahir Rayale Kahin to London at the invitation of the British government. We are also gratified by the great sense of unity demonstrated by the Somaliland communities in England and the rest of Europe to give solidarity to the President and his delegation and to show the British government and people their enthusiasm for reclaiming their nationhood. We hope the President’s historic visit to Great Britain will be a harbinger for more dialogue between the Somaliland leaders and other western democracies and also with African and Middle Eastern countries and to be precursor to eventual international recognition for the Somaliland State.
