SIRAG condemns London's bombing as a crime against humanity

Thursday 7th of July is a sad day for our people in Britain. A new chapter in our history has opened that will challenge our faith and values for centuries to come. London is the city of humanity where people from all races live as one peaceful nation. In this century Peace has its challenges and united as one we will overcome these challenges that are turning our humanity to a new dimension.

Somalilanders had their share of supporting peace in a continent wrecked by poverty and war. The G8 meeting in Gleneagles was an opportunity for Africa's real needs to be solved. Millions of people from across the globe have spoken as one to support Africa's Make Poverty History campaign. Finally the leaders of G8 has listened but sadly this great day has been hijacked and turned into a nightmare.

Terrorism is a nightmare that will live with us for a long time. We the nations and citizens of this globe must stand firm in protecting humanity so that our children will have a future of hope and peace. Our youth must listen to the voice of humanity and be prepared to contribute to world peace and prosperity by defeating terrorism of any sort.

We stand in solidarity with our British people.  We extend our heartfelt condolences and sympathy  to the families of the victims of our British people . We also stand in solidarity with law enforcement to maintain security in Britain.
